After 3+ years of making notes about what the girls who are most successful on Chaturbate do that make them popular, here is what I’ve found. By successful, I mean girls who consistently attract 10,000+ viewers.
#1. They like what they do. Or they are such good actresses, if they do not, they convince everyone watching that they do. They either like sex, or they like the attention and money they get and make, enough, that they in any event get off while you’re watching.
#2. They make viewers feel, through eye contact, talking and the noises they make, that they are making love to each viewer, personally.
#3. They talk. And the girls with the biggest numbers tend to avoid clichés and gross verbiage - saying, for example, “I want you inside me,” and not, “I want your big dick in my tight wet pussy.”
#4. Viewers see the girl’s faces and facial expressions clearly. Let’s face it, most pornographers are morons, and rather than making anything even close to original content, most of them simply reinforce tired conventions that most men didn’t like in the first place. Like a close-up of the vaginal canal during orgasm. Or a girl’s finger up her bum during orgasm. Or an entire masturbation session with the girl lying down, in which the view is from mid-pelvis level, shot from about the knees, or the ankles, in which the face is all but impossible to see.

I’d like to talk about that for a moment: skip this section if you’re not interested. Not many things are more boring than a long close-up of a vagina, and a closeup of a vagina during orgasm is straight-up frustrating, because most people want to see the face during orgasm. For the same reason that most girls don’t like dick pics, most guys don’t like cunt pics. Typically they’re ugly, and completely inexpressive. No moving parts, per se. Vaginas and penises are most interesting sensorially, not visually. Wonderful to feel, not so much to look at.
100 pictures or movies like the above don’t make life better or more exciting. Vaginas don’t move or do anything else visually during orgasm (unless they squirt, and a lot of men don’t particularly like seeing that either) and virtually all exciting movement is happening elsewhere, mostly in the face, and in the overall body movement. Suggestions or glimpses of a vagina are sexy. Mr. Vagina is not.
Much, if not most, of what we see in pornography is simply there because there is so much bad material already in circulation, that camera-people think viewers want more of it, and not because there are many people who actually like it.
I suggest presenting what you like to see, not what you think people like to see. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen girls presenting Mr. Vagina, when viewers asked to see the girl’s face.

#5. The most popular models usually don’t play overly-loud or abrasive music, or they play none at all. Remember, viewers want to hear you.
#6. You don’t have to be beautiful to get a lot of viewers, but you do have to be sexy, and you have to like to flirt. Which gets back to #1 - you have to like what you’re doing. And it’s a good idea to like the men / women who are your fans.
#7. The following type of pose always attracts thousands of viewers. Not a lot of models lie down in this attitude, but the ones who do inevitably gain thousands of onlookers very quickly.
#8. There are more Dos than Don’ts on a model’s profile. “Don’t ask for C2C, no privates, no PMs,” and so on. I think that the negatives, followed by gift lists and other ways to spend money on the girl, make her look,
Greedy.
Like she’s not really interested in knowing her clients.
That’s my take on it - whether or not you agree with my explanation, it is nonetheless true that the models with that type of negative profile are decidedly less popular than those who at least have enough attractive, flirty Dos to balance things out.
